Abstract:
This study was conducted to analyze the study of business process management implementation
of research and community service (PKM) in an existing private study higher education
organization in STMIK West Java, where the business process of conducting research and PKM
is still an existing process which is deemed necessary for improvement in order to be able
improve the performance of research and PKM implementation. The purpose of this study
provides a comprehensive recommendation on the life cycle of the business process of
conducting research and PKM. The research was conducted using a qualitative research method
with a descriptive approach, in which this research attempts to describe the events, events and symptoms that are happening at the moment. The results of this study are in the form of business process recommendations for conducting research and PKM using the BPMN and Value Chain models. The expected impact of the results of this study can improve the quality of research and PKM implementation for private universities in particular.
